二本松菊人形
二本松には藩政時代より菊の愛好者が多く、昭和初期から菊人形が街に飾られていました。
その後、昭和30年から趣向を変え、現在の「菊の祭典」として霞ヶ城公園（国指定史跡「二本松城跡」）を会場に、華々しく開かれるようになりました。
現在は、毎年10月中旬から11月下旬に開催し、艶やかな菊の花と色づく紅葉が会場全体をうめつくす日本最大級の菊の祭典として観光客を魅了しています。
二本松の提灯祭り
今から約370年前（1643年＜寛永20年＞）丹羽光重公が二本松城主として入部、「よい政治を行うためには、領民にまず、敬神の意を昂揚（こうよう）させること」と考え現在の栗ヶ柵に二本松神社をまつり、領民なら誰でも自由に参拝できるようにしたのが「提灯まつり」の始まりといわれております。
最初は、旧暦の8月15日を挟んで行われていましたが、大正7(1918)年の二本松大火から、10月4、5、6日に行われるようになり、令和元年(2019)からは10月の第一土、日、月曜日に行われております。
二本松の提灯祭りは日本三大提灯祭りのひとつとして数えられております。

寒い日はおでんに限りますよね。ここは二本松駅前にあるレトロな雰囲気のおでん屋さん❝みよし❞
地元に愛されて50年以上。先代から受け継いで秘伝のつゆで煮込んだおでんはどこか懐かしくコンビニでは味わえない珠玉の味。
もう一つの名物“おにぎり”はまさにおふくろの味。
